We live in unprecedented times. It is very difficult and I often find myself despairing. It is hard to listen to the news, it is upsetting to see this disease take hold of the world and devastate so much. The emphasis should always be on those suffering and those who are helping. Sometimes to talk about the successes, the triumphs and the people that are overcoming the virus seems misplaced. This post is trying to find the middle ground, I am trying to highlight the amazing work of the NHS - these are the people facing the reality of what is happening, day in day out. The NHS - our beautiful National Healthy Service - is saving lives and helping us to fight this ugly thing. And I am incredibly proud of that, I am grateful and I want to be vocal on that. Thank you.
