Moscow’s Perspective
Borrowing my human’s Apple
Weekends are like other days for me and my brother. Except they’re not. Hilary and Stuart usually spend more time in my garden so I have to supervise them most of the afternoon. This can interrupt vital hunting and sleeping but someone has to be the responsible cat.
Today seems a bit different. The humans have brought new humans into my house and they seem to be staying. They are fairly house trained and not too noisy but one of them keeps sitting on my sofa in the sitting room. I’ve tried explaining this to him but he doesn’t seem to understand. I don’t wish to be rude so I make my feelings felt by taking over the space the minute he gets up.
They also don’t leave their breakfast for me to finish as Hilary and Stuart do. So I’ll have to start training them soon. The female seems to have made friends with my pet K9, Lily, and opens the door for her and helps her paint her nails. That’s the sort of thing female humans and K9’s do.
Stuart and Hilary don't seem to go off hunting themselves at the moment. Instead they spend most of the day in my house. I don’t mind as I can use Stuart’s computer for my emails and my brother helps Hilary with her phone calls. The thing about humans compared with K9s is that they can hunt for their own food and store what they can’t eat for later. My brother and I bring them the odd vole or mouse to eat but they are usually full and so we have to eat them ourselves. It’s a bit rude. Mr B and I always eat what they bring in for us as long as we like it.
I’ll try and write some more tomorrow and my brother has said he will lend a paw to help. But I am not sure he will, He’s almost always asleep.
